Privacy Policy

How Verde Homes handles rental information.

Verde Homes processes rental information needed to provide owner, tenant, property-manager, payment, document, maintenance, and reporting workflows. This notice describes current product behavior and verified providers; it does not claim that every privacy law applies or that legal review is complete.

Review Compliance

Information Processed

Verde processes account identifiers, organization and property records, tenant and lease details, documents, maintenance, vendors, payment activity, audit events, support information, and workflow configuration supplied through the service.

Operational Uses

Information is used to provide the requested workspace, authorize role-based access, operate billing and payments, send service communications, support users, preserve records, investigate failures, and maintain auditable lifecycle actions.

Role-Based Access

Owner, property-manager, and tenant views are separated by authenticated role and organization or property relationships. Customers are responsible for assigning appropriate access and removing access that is no longer needed.

Payments and Stripe

Stripe hosts subscription Checkout, tenant payment, saved bank-payment, connected-account onboarding, and payout workflows. Verde does not request raw card numbers, bank credentials, tax identity, or KYC documents through custom Verde forms.

Service Providers

Supabase provides database, authentication, and Storage services; Vercel hosts the application; Resend delivers configured service email. OpenAI may process submitted workflow text or spreadsheet mapping data only when an AI-assisted feature is enabled.

AI-Assisted Features

CSV and XLSX files may be parsed to organize property records. AI-assisted mapping suggestions require owner review before a supported import writes records. Availability depends on feature configuration.

Access and Export

Owners can immediately download an available ZIP export from Settings. The export contains supported portfolio records and available private document files; external provider records and unavailable files are not included.

Archive and Reactivation

Archiving immediately cancels the current Verde subscription without proration or a refund, then places the workspace in read-only mode. Existing outstanding charges are not changed. Reactivation restores an archived workspace to active lifecycle status but does not create or resume a paid subscription.

Scheduled Deletion

Eligible owners can schedule account deletion after a 30-day read-only grace period and can cancel the schedule before permanent processing begins. Permanent deletion processing is not currently active. Scheduling a deletion does not itself permanently delete database, Storage, Auth, or Stripe records.

Retention

Financial, security, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute, and externally retained Stripe records may be preserved or anonymized when operational or approved retention rules require it.

Audit and Lifecycle Records

Verde maintains consent, lifecycle, export, payment, webhook, and processor audit records appropriate to the supported workflow. Permanent-deletion processing, when separately approved, is designed to remove or anonymize supported operational data while preserving approved retained records.
